I have extensive experience guiding large disparate corporate divisions devising and executing capacity planning, application development, performance and operational excellence in the data center. With excellent personal and communication skills, I have negotiated with CIOs and SVPs at Fortune 500 companies to manage the technical and organizational problems plaguing their environments. Having worked with over 30 customers on 4 continents in 9 countries, my success and experience in this area makes me the primary "go-to guy" at IBM when a customer is experiencing critical production outages or problems. Planned and organized budgets from $5,000,000 to $70,000,000 for IT services, software and hardware at customers including federal and state governments, health care and hospitals, banking and financial services and retailers. I manage various customer organizations and devise and execute on strategic plans that not only solve their immediate problems but also provide leverage for the following months and years. I have over 50 patent issues and pendings in the USA and internationally. I was recognized by IBM as a Master Inventor not only for my capacity as an innovator and patent reviewer within IBM but also as an innovation leader and mentor within several different IBM international organizations. I also speak at various industry conferences, publish articles and blogs and hold a current USA Top Secret clearance.
